Both seasons were filmed asymmetrically (out of sequence), so throughout, Corey Carrier (Henry Jr.) appears in varying and inconsistent stages of puberty. During production of the television movies that followed the series, bridging sequences were filmed for the home video releases, leading to even more inconsistencies regarding the actor's ages.
