The storyline of the second episode in season one is almost the same as the pilot in the original. Jackson loses his room to Ramona and is forced to live with Max in this series. In the original, Stephanie gives her room to Uncle Jesse and moves in with DJ. Also, Jackson decides to move out and stows away with Uncle Jesse while in the original, DJ decides to move out and live in the garage and when Jackson vents his feelings about the whole situation it's almost the same as how DJ vented in the original saying how everything "keeps changing". Coincidently, it is the same bedroom that gets given up and the same sleeping arrangements are used (the oldest gets the closet, middle child faces the bedroom door, the youngest gets Michelle's old room).
