The film shows Mercury's band mates making one request for forgiving him prior to Live Aid: that all songs be credited to "Queen," with all royalties split evenly. This did eventually happen, but somewhat later: "The Miracle" (1989) was the first Queen album credited this way. By that time, Freddie Mercury had been diagnosed with AIDS and the band knew he was dying.
