Rubberband Man was drastically changed for the TV series. This version of Rubberband Man was an African American guy who tried to get revenge on a music producer for stealing his song. His real name was Adam Evans, which is derived from the names of former Milestone writers Adam Blaustein and Yves Fezzani, who created the character. The Milestone Media comic book version of Rubberband Man was a small-time crook and Bang Baby named Kamron Stringer ("Stringer" was also an alias that Rubberband Man used in an episode of the series) who appeared on a talk show and challenged Static on live TV. Later, he joined Doctor Kilgore's new team of super-villains named the Collective.
