The almost humorous fight scene in the bathroom at Jeb's house must be a dig at the size of typical Pittsburgh bathrooms. The homes are so old it is a common joke around town about how small they are throughout the city. Any hand to hand (in this case baseball bat) combat would be futile with the little space available.
