When Manoj Kumar went to sign Saira Banu for Purab Aur Pachhim, Dilip Kumar thought that Manoj Kumar had gone to sign him, so Manoj Kumar told Dilip Kumar that a day will come that he will go to sign him. Manoj Kumar kept his promise, that day came after 5/6 years, he went to sign Dilip Kumar for Kranti. Manoj Kumar had also promised Rajendra Kumar and Shashi Kapoor that when he becomes producer, he will sign and he kept his promise.
