Spielberg shot 'Jurassic Park' (1993) in 1.85:1 aspect ratio to have enough height to frame the dinosaurs, but Trevorrow shot 'Jurassic World' (2015) in the less common 2:1 to maintain height and still have the epic width of a widescreen.
