Marked the first time in the James Bond franchise where a returned character (Valentin Zukovsky) died and was also played by the same actor (Robbie Coltrane). This has also since been done in Quantum of Solace (2008) [with Rene Mathis], Skyfall (2012) [with M], Spectre (2015) [with Mr. White] and No Time to Die (2021) [with Felix Leiter and James Bond himself].
