While promoting her new ABC series, Alaska Daily (2022), with Deadline, Hilary Swank, who played Julie Pierce in The Next Karate Kid (1994), was asked about potentially making a Cobra Kai cameo. All she did was laugh and say, "I was told that I'm supposed to only keep it to Alaska Daily, so I guess that question is for another time." That filled many fans with the hope that her appearance could happen. But with her new show, scheduling would be an issue if she did appear.
