Both Rose and Jack are taken by surprise from each other respectively on opposite ends of Titanic respectively. Earlier in the film Rose almost throws herself off the stern of the ship until Jack stops her. Later Jack convinced he lost Rose to Cal is seen on the bow side of the ship and Rose comes up to him much to his shock and delight.
