Although Reptile's default look in most Mortal Kombat games is that of a humanoid ninja (with varying degrees of reptilian features), this film probably based his appearance on that from Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002), which is the most lizard-like he has ever been, complete with a snout and a tail.
