(at around 39 mins) The scene in which Deadpool breaks his hands and leg, after attempting to punch and kick Colossus, is inspired by a similar scene from Monty Python e il Sacro Graal (1975) where King Arthur battles the black knight. King Arthur cuts off the black knight's limbs one after the other but the black knight keeps fighting back.
