Jeetendra had walked out of the film right before the US schedule in 1981.. Finally after settling his personal problems he came back into the film. There were strong rumors he was angry that Hema married Dharmendra and was bitter. So Jeetendra started delaying films he was doing with Dharmendra. He walked out of Narendra Bedi's Kanoon (which got shelved) and was not giving dates to Samraat.
