This movie and Hairspray: Grasso è bello (2007) were released the same year, with James Marsden appearing in both. These two musicals are the only chances to hear James Marsden sing on film and to watch him as he dances, as Prince Edward here, and as Corny Collins in Hairspray (2007). He also sang on the television series Second Noah (1996).
