In the Star Wars Legends timeline of post-Il ritorno dello Jedi (1983) novels, Boba Fett is portrayed as an ally of the Imperials. This however, is not the case in The Mandalorian: Chapter 14: The Tragedy (2020) and the last two chapters of Season 2 - since he helps the Mandalorian on his quest to rescue Grogu from Moff Gideon and the Imperials.
