The car used at the beginning of the film is a 1956 Chrysler New Yorker convertible. Only 921 were made. In excellent condition in 2021, an example of this car could be worth $75,000. It's good to note this particular car was not blown up - a 1949 Oldsmobile was substituted for the explosion.
