Just after Shrek, Donkey, and Puss In Boots find shelter in the barn after the rain, Donkey and Shrek pass out due to the potion. Just before Donkey passes out he says "I'm coming, Elizabeth!" - this is what Fred Sanford (Redd Foxx) used to say on Sanford and Son (1972) every time he feigned a heart attack.
