In Sonic - Il film (2020), the first movie, Dr. Robotnik flew around in a VTOL that looked a bit like his vehicle from the games. Along with his clothes and robots, he's also updated his personal flying vehicle to be much more akin to what he uses in the games. This one is smaller and egg-shaped, with the iconic color scheme.
