Michele Lee was frequently on the set, and on the lot, to shoot each day, when it was filmed at MGM Studios (now Sony Pictures Studios) in Culver City, California, the same studio where Michele's real-life father had done a lot of musicals on the lot, before. Everybody in the cast, in that lot knew who Michele's father was, and absolutely loved her father.
