Though they would not work together, Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Peña would go on to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Gyllenhaal played Mysterio in Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019), while Peña plays Luis in Ant-Man (2015) and Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). Frank Grillo (who plays Sarge) also appears in the MCU as Crossbones in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Captain America: Civil War (2016), and Avengers: Endgame (2019). David Harbour also appears in the MCU as Alexei in Black Widow.
