When K shows J the photographs of First Contact, he reacts to the picture of the random young man greeting the aliens with "Aww, you brought that tall man some flowers!" Though he doesn't realize it, his use of "you" is completely accurate -- the young man in that picture is K himself. When describing the people present for the First Contact, he's brief with the description of the others, "seven agents, one astronomer", but makes a point to be specific about the "one dumb kid who got lost on the wrong back road".
