Jackie Chan asked Korean martial arts director/action actor Won Jin to star in Police Story 3 : Supercop. But out of loyalty to director David Lai, Won Jin had to turn it down, as he had already agreed to star in Lai's film Chi luo kuang ben (1993), which was filming at the same time.
