At 1:36:59, the schematic of the Engineer's ship shows nearly the same lay-out as the Derelict Ship discovered by the crew in the original Alien (1979). The particular ship in this movie was nicknamed "The Juggernaut" by the crew; it was originally going to be a full circle, but in the end, it was made only slightly rounder than its equivalent in Alien so that it could role over the ground more convincingly. Large sections of the ship were built to scale at 007's Pinewood Studios in London. The studio hangar, which was originally 300 ft long (90 meters), had to be extended by a third, to 400 ft (135 meters) to accommodate the full Juggernaut set.
