Each of the main characters has a repeating pattern of bad things that happen to them throughout the run of the series: T.J. HOOKER- Whenever he is shot, it is almost always in the shoulder, except for T.J. Hooker: Psychic Terror (1984)(#3.20) where he is shot in the chest.VINCE ROMANO- Whenever he is shot or injured to the head, it usually results either in a concussion or temporary blindness.JIM CORRIGAN- He often has an ex-lover who ends up somehow connected with the bad guys and is either arrested or killed.STACEY SHERIDAN- Whenever she goes undercover, her cover is often blown and she ends up a hostage.
