The climax of the movie where Marlin, Nemo and Dory help some fish to escape from some trawler men was actually an event that had happened in Norway in the 80s-90s, where a fishing boat was capsized by a bunch of cod fish. They were trying to escape from the net of the boat. Roy E. Disney asked director Andrew Stanton not to turn the boat around, it would be bad luck for the trawler men.
