After Brenda got her shot, she wakes up to Thomas checking her locket. Brenda mentions that her brother, George, was taken away from her. In Maze Runner - Il labirinto (2014), while looking for fertilizers in the woods, Thomas stops at a grave with the name 'George'. It's safe to assume that the grave belongs to Brenda's brother.
