In season 2, episode 2, Nate says that his father was born in 1955. In season 4, Thomas F. Wilson is introduced as Henry Heywood. Wilson played Biff Tanen in all three Back to the Future movies. In the first movie, it is revealed that Doc Brown invented time travel in 1955.
