Mabel's gun is completely based off of the real-life Sears-owned gun brand, J. C. Higgins, as is the ammo it uses, "R. B. Clochy Super Shot Shotgun Shells", which are based off of J. C. Higgins Xtra-Range Shotgun Shells.
