In an interview, Dan Stevens said that there was a different version of the ending transformation: the Prince would emerge shirtless from a bed of rose petals. However, this scene received negative reactions from test audiences, as they felt that if the Prince appeared shirtless, that meant the rest of him was naked as well, and so wouldn't be appropriate for young children.
