This was the last movie of Rehana Sultana, the famous actress of 1970's, who was awarded the National Award for Best Actress for her role in the movie Dastak. It's said that Sudhir Mishra offered this role to help her seeing her poor financial condition after the death of her husband, B.R. Ishaara in 2012.
