The book "The Art of Captain America: Civil War" reveals that in early versions of the screenplay, Ant-Man was part of Team Stark. This was most likely before they got the rights to include Spider-Man in the story. Concept art of Scott Lang in the guise of Giant-Man fighting Captain America is featured in the book. One of these images also includes the Wasp and Sharon Carter facing each other during the battle.
