This movie was filmed in New Mexico and Arizona but purported to be Oklahoma in 1889, 18 years before Oklahoma statehood in 1907 as the 46st state. Both New Mexico and Arizona were admitted to the union as states, five years later in 1912 as the 47th and 48th states of the union, respectively.
