Whoopi Goldberg hated producers Richard Abramson and Stefano Ferrari so much because of all the legal drama. During mediations, she told Abramson to his face, "Just for the record: I hate your guts. Maybe in ten years, you and I can have a cup of coffee and laugh about this. But you've made my life a living hell and I hate your fucking guts." As for Ferrari, one time during pre production, Ferrari and Goldberg were walking past each other, he said hello to her, but she muttered "motherfucker" back at him under her breath. She later had him banned from the set while filming.
