The camera Therese uses to photograph Carol with at the Christmas tree stand is an Argus C3, a low-priced rangefinder camera mass-produced from 1939 to 1966. Later, Carol gifts Therese with a more posh Canon III rangefinder, a virtual carbon copy of the even posher Leica IIIc.
