The scene with the three monsters looking down at the marching clones while plotting to save Susan. Is a reference to the scene from The Wizard of Oz (1939), where Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, and Tin Man are looking down on the wicked witch's soldiers while plotting to save Dorothy. A member of each group who has no brain (Scarecrow and B.O.B. respectively) comes up with the same plan: disguising themselves to blend in.
