Akitoki Hojo is the only character from the show that directly ties in with any of the Inuyasha movies. The character is first introduced in the second film, "InuYasha The Movie: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass" and reappears in season 6 of the series. (At some point in the film, Shippo blackmails Akitoki into becoming his personal slave for his silence about Akitoki spying on Kagome and Sango while they were bathing. In The Final Act, Shippo released Akitoki from his "bonds.")
