The series did an in-show promotion of other CBS series by having the characters mention their desire to watch The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961), Gomer Pyle: USMC (1964), and The Beverly Hillbillies (1962). The latter mention is rather strange, since the series took place in the same TV universe as "The Beverly Hillbillies."
