The French dub has Tony use "Voldemort" as an insult to Ebony Maw in place of "Squidward" (a character from SpongeBob SquarePants (1999)). This is likely because Squidward's French name, "Carlo," was too ordinary for audiences to get the joke, and for the joke to work. The same applies to Squidward's German name, "Thaddäus."
