When Cooper is looking through the bookshelf while in the tesseract, you can see a book titled "The Willoughbys". While this is indeed an actual book about a group of children who are abandoned by their parents, it could doubly reference the Twilight Zone episode Ai confini della realtà: A Stop at Willoughby (1960) , in which a man hallucinates about a small idyllic town from the past. The episode also mentions the protagonist as "being born too late", something Cooper's father-in-law says about him in this film.
