Cake Eater - Derogatory term for officers, usually used by enlisted SEAL's to refer to SEAL officers. Unlike enlisted personnel an officer can choose if they go in the field on an op or stay behind and supervise remotely. In other words they are able to have their cake (be a SEAL) and eat it too (not take as much risk as enlisted).
