The theatrical release of this movie will mark the second longest hiatus in the official James Bond series. The interval between this picture and 'Spectre' (2015) is five years and eleven months. The longest gap between Bond movies was six years and five months between 'Licence to Kill' (1989) and 'Goldeneye' (1995). The third longest interval, a four year gap, occurred twice, between 'Die Another Day' (2002) and 'Casino Royale' (2006), and once again, between 'Quantum of Solace' (2008) and 'Skyfall' (2012).
