The wrap-around narrative for Martin the Warrior in the novel series has a group of Noonvale travellers arriving at Redwall to tell the tale of Martin (after the events of The Bellmaker). This was changed to Matthias and Tim Churchmouse relating the story, as audiences were already familiar with these characters.
