The story of the series turned into Mecnun's search for Leyla, after Leyla died. Although many female characters named "Leyla" were added to the series, none of them could fill the place of the original Leyla and the theme of the series always flowed with longing for the lost, because there is only one Leyla, and none of them is "her".
