Bradley Cooper intentionally did not include a montage of Ally becoming a successful musician but rather decided to include the Il Saturday Night Live (1975) performance. He believed that if the audience witnessed Ally performing at SNL, they would understand how famous Ally had become to be invited as a SNL musical guest.
