2018 is the third year in which Sony Animation films released more than one fully animated film, with this film coming out the same year as Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018). Previously there was 2012 (releasing Pirati! Briganti da strapazzo (2012) and Hotel Transylvania (2012)) and 2017 (with I Puffi: Viaggio nella foresta segreta (2017), Emoji - Accendi le emozioni (2017), and Gli eroi del Natale (2017)).
