The title song was so popular Yash Johar launched a film in 1981 titled "John Jani Janardhan" (Ringo) . Starring Amitabh Bachchan,Mithun Chakraborthy (Replaced Randhir Kapoor) and Kamal Haasan. The film was to be directed by Manmohan Desai. It was shelved after the announcement.
