Before the candidates for the role of Kelly Kapowski were down to two (Tiffani Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkley), the third finalist was Jennie Garth. Garth would go on to star in Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990), along with Thiessen and Bayside School (1989) guest star Tori Spelling.
