Ralph Fiennes (Gustave) and Léa Seydoux (Clotilde) would reunite years later in the James Bond series Spectre (2015) and No Time to Die (2021), with Ralph playing Bond's boss M and Leah playing Bond's love interest Madeleine. Prior to this movie, Mathieu Amalric (Serge) also starred in the Bond series as Dominic Greene, a member of the villainous Spectre organization in Quantum of Solace (2008).
