The unofficial body count within the action-packed White House melee is 88, making it one of the higher body-count movies of its type. (The total was carefully counted and devised by myself, after watching the movie three-straight-times, with the use of the pause button on the remote - there was only one total that was estimated (27), that being the lives lost on Air Force One, with the Vice-President, his Chief of Staff and staffers, Secret Service detail, members of the media and crew members.) To give one an idea of how this stacks up against other similar movies, Trappola di cristallo (1988), the 1988 action film starring Bruce Willis, had a grand total of 19 in the notable body-count category.
