The Character of Grima Wormtongue is played by Brad Dourif, who had earlier played a similar character who is a manipulative and twisted advisor in David Lynch's Dune called Piter de Vries. However, Grima has a redemption arc in both the books and the movies when he kills Saruman the White, whereas Piter de Vries is a character who is rotten to the core in both the books and movies.
